Dorset Deaf Children's Society

The DDCS event for April 2015 was a Poole Park Family Day.  This was a first for DDCS and 90 members ventured out on a cloudy and breezy day to have some fun!  We were hoping for some sunshine, but it was not to be, but thankfully it stayed dry and our members did not get wet!

 

The members were split into two groups and whilst one group had a trip round Poole on the Land Train the other group spent time in the Ark soft play centre.  Unfortunately the planned picnic did not take place as it was too cold to sit out on the grass but families found somewhere warmer to eat lunch and duck food was provided for the children to feed the ducks.

Despite the weather everyone had a lovely day!
