Dorset Deaf Children's Society

On Sunday 19th February DDCS members descended on Oasis Fun in Bournemouth for a fun packed day. Oasis Fun opened recently and is a brand new entertainment centre, it has a bowling alley with 6 lanes, an indoor soft play centre, adventure golf course, arcades and pool tables, plus an American diner and bar. 
 

The day started at 11am with two hours of fun in the soft play centre allowing the parents to chat and the children to let of steam. Then it was time for lunch and some families enjoyed food at the diner. After lunch it was time for bowling, some children having never bowled before enjoyed their first experience helped by the other children who had done it before.  This was followed by adventure golf in what looked like a jungle!  A great way to end half term and make sure the children were suitably tired for bed that night!

 

Another great day for DDCS enabling all the families to meet up with old friends and make new ones!
